Question: "Is mandatory parental consent for a minor's abortion proper?" Answer: "The answer is no. Mandating that a woman (or female minor) remain pregnant is a violation of her right to her own body."

Are drinking/smoking laws, and the age of consent (which are all around 18 in the US) moral?

One could use the same line of reasoning above and argue that because a person has a right to his own body, there should be no laws making it illegal for a minor to smoke, drink, or have sex.
