The "flow" is a common term used by software programmer to describe the state they're in when they're fully concentrated on their work, mentally balancing complicated data structures & code flows in their head, etc.

The key term in your description is "concentrated." Concentration is not the same as focus. The relationship is that concentration of the kind described depends on a state of mental focus, but it's not the only way to be in focus. Refer to the topic of "Focus" in The Ayn Rand Lexicon for additional explanation.
